Unwrapping Jordan Page 13
“Then bring ’er over as soon as she can come. We’re a family. If she’s gonna be with my son, after everything you’ve been through with Heidi, then I want to look her in the eyes. See what she’s made of.” Ma took another swig of her drink and returned to the kitchen. He soon heard the sound of pots and pans banging about, and assumed she was preparing to cook dinner. His sister was now sitting down, messing with her phone.
“Are you all right?” he asked, reaching for another ornament from the big old box. She looked up at him, a smile on her face.
“I’m all right if you’re all right. By the way, tell Egypt thanks for Dad’s flowers for the funeral. I saw ’er walking away after she’d left them on the porch all those years ago.” He nodded, then hung the ornament. “It’s funny how love is, isn’t it, Jordan?” She slipped her phone back into her purse.
“Yeah, it’s some strange, wonderful shit.”
“It always catches us unexpectedly.” She placed her foot on the chair and played with her toes over the thick black sock. “I’ve been searching for it all this time.” She sighed and rested her chin in her palm. “I should’ve learned from your example.”
“My example?” He threw her a brief glance. “I was a bad example. You were right earlier. I convinced myself I loved someone I didn’t even like most times, and trusted a man I should’ve beat to death. It’s like I did that shit on purpose. I would get with women who couldn’t or I wouldn’t let get close to me. It’s like I was always expecting something fucked up to happen, and then, I’d get angry when it did. Definitely don’t do what I did.”
“You don’t get it.” He turned around and faced her. The living room began to smell of delicious food, and Mom was humming ‘O Holy Night.’ “If you walk away from love and it returns to you, Jordan, then that means it’s really yours. You never have to force it; it comes willingly. You came back, and she was here.”
Jennifer was definitely right. He fiddled in the box once again and found the topper. A beautiful star that looked to be made of diamonds. Ma had had it since he and Jenn were children.
“I think Ma should go with this one this year. What do you think?”
“I do, too. Star crossed lovers have found their way back to each other. It’s a perfect match.”
His hair was still wet from the shower, but he figured he’d be okay stepping out into the cold just to make it to his car. I need to get some coffee, make a few calls, and get some work done, then call Egypt – see how the presentation went. Stuffing his biking gloves into his duffle bag, he headed out the gym locker room towards the exit. No time to waste. As he was leaving, he heard his name being called.
“Hey! Jordan! Jordan!”
He looked to his left and saw Andre trying to get someone’s attention while he called to him. He tossed up his middle finger in the fucker’s direction, then kept on walking towards the door.
“Hold up, Jordan. Eddie, give me five minutes,” Andre stated to the man before jogging over to him. “Hey, Jordan, based on your response I take it that Egypt told you about the disagreement we had.”
“She told me all right. You need to mind your business.”
“Look, don’t start a scene!” Andre put up his hands and looked around the gym. “This is my place of business, so try to keep it cool.”
“Your place of business? Motherfucker, you’re the one who ran over to me, not the other way around. And this may be your domain, but it is my love life you poked your nose in. What you said to her was fuckin’ outlandish. You made this a Black and White thing. You made it about race and other shit that wasn’t true. You don’t fuckin’ know me, man. You don’t know shit about me to make those types of assumptions. What if she took your advice, huh?” Andre huffed, but remained calm. “Everything would be shot to hell. Luckily, she thinks for herself.”
“It was nothing personal. I’m just looking out for her is all. I will admit I am biased about the situation. I had time to think about how I came at her, and I’m not proud of it.”
“Great. I hope you tell her that, too. I have to go.”
“Wait, Jordan. One more thing. There’s been a lot going on. Don’t know if she told you or not, but one of her close friends from college, a woman named Erin, had died two or three years ago and Egypt took it really hard. The lady’s birthday passed not too long ago, and Egypt is kind of sentimental about people’s birthdays, holidays, deaths, things like that. After that, she called off her wedding engagement and then, her father got sick and almost died. It’s just been one thing after another. I just wanted to safeguard her is all. Regardless, it wasn’t my place to interfere, I know that now, but I wanted you to understand it from my perspective.”
Jordan looked deep into the man’s eyes as he spoke. He’d always liked Andre. He didn’t know him terribly well, but he’d hung out with him long enough during their high school and football days to have a decent idea of his character, his nature. Jordan was rarely wrong about people, but he sometimes believed naively that even his snake-like friends wouldn’t turn their venom in his direction.
“Andre, I was going to cuss ya out, maybe even put my hands on ya, rough ya up a bit, but I appreciate your honesty right now, as well as you trying to give your side of things. Yeah, I was pretty pissed off when she told me that you tried to discourage her from seeing me. Sabotage the whole thing. I get it though, I do. It’s fine. We’re fine.”
They shook hands and Andre turned for a moment to check on his client before facing him again, laughing.
“What? What’s so funny?”
“I think back to that time so long ago and remember a fleeting moment when there were rumors of Egypt liking you. Right before that, I didn’t even think she knew you. I asked her about it, way back then, and she said she lived on your street, but it was nothing.” He shook his head. “I was dumb enough to believe her.”
Jordan offered a half smile and shrugged.
“We just wanted to keep it between us for different reasons. Hers were noble. Mine, not so much. Now,” he threw up his hands, “I want it all out in the open. I love her, Andre. I loved her back then, too. She knew it. I never had to say it. But I’m sayin’ it now. So, this is really nothing new. It’s just the more mature version, the do-over grown folk style. All I can say is that I’m thankful for second chances. It’s a miracle, really. There’s no way a woman like Egypt should be single, but it’s like the stars lined up just right and well, now here we both are.”
They looked at each other and the man nodded, as if coming to a new realization.
“Yeah, here we are. I just want ’er to be happy, and if that’s with you, my old football buddy, then I say go for it.” They clasped hands and shook on it once more. “All right, well, hopefully I’ll see ya around.” Andre turned to walk away.
“Hey, let me ask you something, Andre.”
“Yeah? What’s up?”
“Since you’re one of Egypt’s best friends and know her so well, I’ve been planning something special for her. I’d like to run it past you. I have a special Christmas for her in store, and I want it to go right, without a hitch…”
CHAPTER TWELVE
Splish, Splash, I Was Taking a Bath
Holding his impressive length as she lay between his long legs, Egypt slipped her tongue underneath the sheath, then inched her way upwards, surrounding wet heat against the heavy head. Her pussy cried fervent rivulets as Jordan swept his fingers through her hair and pushed her down his shaft, forcing more of himself inside her mouth. She took her sweet time, slow and easy. A remix of Lil Kim’s, ‘Crush on You’ played in her bedroom as she deep throated the son of a bitch.
With eyes closed, he gyrated his hips, twisting and turning as if he were fucking. She slurped and sucked all the harder, meeting his plunges until he was so far down her throat, she almost gagged. Pushing on his taut stomach, the eight-pack a thing of beauty, she held him back, lest she be bayonetted. She was focusing strictly on his pleasure; after all, he deserved a
morning BJ.
He’d spent the night and when she’d awakened earlier that morning, the man had fixed her some toast – lightly done, wheat bread, one pat of butter just how she liked it – and soft scrambled eggs with a sprinkle of paprika, Italian herbs, and black pepper, along with fresh squeezed orange juice. And then, he’d cleaned the entire kitchen as if he were running a five-star maid service. He’d called it manly elbow grease. Now, everything sparkled like new, enough to make her swoon.
And he was sparkling, too, as he reached the brink of ecstasy thanks to her magical tongue and desire to make his toes curl. His moans reverberated throughout the room, and no further words were needed.
“Ahhh…Ahhhh…” his voice grew louder, and she kept her pace.
And then he jerked. She braced herself. Ready. Needing to taste his expulsion. In moments, he released his seed into her mouth in fast spurts. He held her head down close to his groin, making her take every inch she could muster. She greedily tasted him, swallowing his warm cum. When he opened his eyes, he looked spent, yet satisfied. He waited a moment longer then slipped his long, fat cock out of her mouth, bumped it against her chin a couple times and smirked. She swallowed the remainder of his cum, already missing his flavor before it was fully gone.
She rose on her knees to go freshen up but he pulled her back to him like a snapping rubber band. Sighing with anticipation, he laid her down, and started to feast on her dripping wet pussy. The satiny sable strands of his hair felt lush between her fingers, and the prickly yet soft beard rubbed along her dripping essence. He explored all over her core, his lips and tongue moving in a frantic back and forth wave. Clutching the sheets, she fell apart against him, and yet, he was far from finished with her.
Jordan hooked his hands around her upper thighs and shook his head from left to right. Her wet pussy sounded like a waterfall as he devoured her. She exploded, bursting with ecstasy, falling apart against his face. He lapped and licked loudly, swallowing in big gulps as if he were a thirsty man and she were a golden fountain of youth and riches. Shivers wracking her, she came down from her high, but he persisted yet again… gently purring against her pussy, dragging his lips across her nature. And then, he French kissed her there…
She trembled against the sheets, her body assailed by sensations she’d never dreamed possible. He kept revving her up until she tumbled into another orgasm. Her body contorted, pelvis moving upward like a glacier breaking through the surface of the sea. When she rose from the bed, she threatened to take him with her, but he resisted her power and pushed her down into submission. Potent vibrations lit her cells on fire, made her brain dizzy and her body tense then limp as if her bones had dissolved, leaving her as nothing more than sensitive nerve endings. She cursed and screamed until she had nothing left to give. So tired. Exquisitely exhausted. He rested his head on her stomach, breathing heavy and trailing his hand along the curve of her hip.
With his eyes closed, he looked so beautiful. Every little scar and mark told his story. His imperfections made him a king. His arms were freakishly hard, the muscles always taut to the touch. Big hands rough and unyielding from years of sports and weight lifting. His chest a tapestry of black ink with Italian and English words, a canvas oozing bravado and lust. His body was wrapped around hers, and he held onto her legs as if trying to prevent her from leaving. From getting away…
Her heart caught at that thought. In this way, he was somehow speaking to her, conveying a message loud and clear, though his mouth said not one word.
They fell asleep, awakened by her alarm soon thereafter to the sound of Mario’s, ‘Crown and Diamonds.’ Getting up, she prepared a bubble bath while he trimmed his fingernails at her vanity, then washed his face with her exfoliating mitt.
“This is like, foaming wash or some shit?” He held up the bottle he’d used, comfortable as if he owned the place.
“Yes.” She rolled her eyes and chuckled. “It’s nice.”
“It is. I want some. Who made this?” He studied the product, looking for details.
“The brand is La Mer.” She slipped into the bath, the warm water and massaging bubbles feeling like a dream come true on her skin.
His hooded gaze settled on her. Leaning against the counter, he crossed his arms, nothing on but a baby blue towel wrapped around his waist. He approached her, taking slow but confident steps until he was standing by the large jacuzzi bathtub.
Her stomach clenched. He let the towel drop to a heap on his feet and kicked it to the side, then joined her in the bath like some big, drunken giant trying to make it across a pond. She held up a hand, wincing, to block the tsunami splash caused by the hulk known as Jordan. Then, he stopped moving. She looked up at him, her gaze trailing up his body until it reached those striking amber eyes.
“AHHHH!” He splashed water onto her, soaking her, and all she could hear was this dreadful, deep, throaty laughter that pulsated through her entire body.
“Get out of my damn tub! You are the rudest, Jordan!”
“Rude boi!” he said in a fake Jamaican accent as he kicked up more bubbles and water, clearly not giving a damn that she was now officially drenched. Oh, how she’d missed his ridiculous sense of humor – that hadn’t changed in the least in all of these years gone past.
“Shit. Jordan, I want to kill you. Look at my hair.” She frantically tried to get the suds out of her freshly blow-dried tresses. As she got herself together, she barely noticed him crouching down into the water until he had her hemmed up against the back of the basin, her head on a plush rolled towel. The sloshing subsided, sounding more now like a calm river. He pressed his entire body against her, kissing the side of her face, caressing her neck with a gentle hand. He was heavy… so heavy… like a million tons of fortification and affection. Bricks and mortar of a man. She wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him in for a kiss. Their bodies melded together, the heat building, any sound amplified and all senses alert as he maneuvered between her thighs.
“Oh God, Jordan…”
He entered her with a sharp thrust. She fisted the air, but nothing was there to grab hold to but the faded memories they’d shared. The flesh of his back became slick with moisture from the water and foam, no longer suitable for her to dig into. She finally received assistance from the side of the tub, her hands wrapping firmly around the granite curve as he propelled in and out of her like a diesel on level 100. Water swilled out of the tub, and they became a tidal wave of flesh, fighting the current, diving headfirst into their nature and lust for one another.
“I want to go deeper inside ya. Wrap your damn legs around me,” he ordered, slowing just a bit to allow her time to follow his command. She did as he directed.
He gripped the back of her neck, tilted his head to the side and stole her breath. Her chest rose and fell against him as a veil of bliss formed at her center. His kiss, his scent, his thrust turned her into putty in his hands.
She detonated, a rollercoaster of emotion setting free inside of her. Loop after loop, her adrenaline soared. Orgasm after orgasm wracked her body and she held on to him for dear life. He didn’t let her go as she screamed and cried tears of complete bliss. The way Jordan made love was like no one she’d ever had, ever experienced, ever wanted. It was as if he travelled inside of her without her knowing, found her cloistered guidelines, the instruction manual that would solve her innermost mysteries, and read it cover to cover. He discovered her private buttons, made a devious plan, and implemented it to a ‘T,’ by pushing her NUKE button with the force of a million boulders.
“I came back for you… Never forget that. I returned to Egypt, where I belong.” The words rolled off his tongue like a command, wrapped in a promise. He grabbed hold of her, and they struggled against one another, turning the bathroom into a sopping mess. She squirmed and begged, but it was no use. Ignoring her pleas, he pinned her arm behind her back as if she were some criminal trying to flee the scene. He turned her onto her stomach, the water splattering about agai
nst her chin as she kept her head up, her eyes seeing nothing but a milky, foggy reflection of herself in the water’s surface.
“God!”
Her voice burned her throat as he entered her from behind, making a fool in love out of her. He showed no remorse as he stole her mind, body, and soul. The pain and pleasure of his rough handling made her fall apart, feel dirty and virtuous all at once. He grunted like some enraged beast with each push of his pelvis, obliterating her pussy in such a lovely way.
Jordan freed her arm at last, sliding his grip to the front of her neck to push her head up. With his other hand, he propped himself up, keeping balance. She looked up at the face of a man she once knew. Now, she knew someone else, and yet, the two were one and the same.
“I shoulda fucked you in that library. Better late than never.”
“Take it! Take it! Take my pussy!”
“That’s where you’re wrong. It’s MY pussy. I’ve owned it since the first day I laid eyes on you.”
A loud slapping noise filled the room when his pelvis rocked hard against her wet ass. He made her watch. Made her look up at him. Made her respect and forgive him, once and for all. His eyes glossed over and she knew his time was up. With bottomless thrusts, he flooded her gate. The warmth of his cream made her shudder, his throbbing nature refusing to give up until the last seed was spent…
The next twenty minutes, they rushed about, getting dressed to the sounds of Christmas music, grabbing car keys and belongings. She’d promised. He’d promised. She made him drop his rental car off the day prior, offering to take him to the airport and see him off. He said he’d be back in one week, just in time for Christmas, and she had no choice but to believe him. On the drive over, they simply held hands, neither saying much. It was far too difficult for her to speak. Once she pulled up to his terminal at Logan International Airport, she threw on a smile while working her way through the pain. Flashes of him leaving for college without saying goodbye haunted her, but she pushed them aside, refusing to live in the past when the present was so damn beautiful.
